This policy explains what personal data PreRouted ("we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the cookies we set — including how you can change your cookie choices at any time. It applies to www.prerouted.com.
Who we are
PreRouted operates this website to help travellers find cheaper travel routes. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at privacy@prerouted.com.
Cookies and consent
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use strictly necessary cookies to run the site (for example to keep you logged in and to remember your cookie choice). These are always on because the site cannot function without them.
We set analytics and advertising cookies if you accept them. When you first visit we show a banner where you can Accept all or Reject non-essential cookies. To change your choice later, use the button below or the "Manage cookies" link in the footer.

Personal data we process
When you create an account we process your email address (via our sign-in provider, Auth0). If you subscribe, our payment provider, Stripe, processes your payment details. We do not store card numbers. If you consent to analytics and advertising cookies, the providers above process device and usage information as described.
Legal basis
We use your personal data where necessary to provide the account, subscription and services you request from us. We also rely on consent for analytics and advertising cookies, and on our legitimate interests to keep the service secure, understand how people use the site, improve features, assess reactions to new features, and develop new products and services.
Sharing and international transfers
We share data only with the providers that operate the service — Auth0 (authentication), Stripe (payments), and, where you have consented, Google, Hotjar and Meta. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK/EEA under appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
Retention
We keep account data for as long as your account is active. Your cookie choice is stored for up to 180 days, after which we will ask you again. Analytics and advertising data are retained according to each provider's policies.
Your rights
You may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent for cookies. To make a request, email privacy@prerouted.com. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority, including the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
